DVD Recommendation: 'Infected'....
Apr. 11th, 2013 11:50 amThis B '28 days' flick(really, 28 minutes;>)is actually decent. You could tell there'd be a bit of twisted humor in it due to it's two name stars, veteran B actors Michael Madsen and William Forsythe;>...
Two vets take their college-aged kids up to the family cabin for a weekend of Hunting and family bonding(both are divorced from the kid's mothers).Madsen's character's son shows his "rebellion" from his non-Smoking Hunting father by being a chainsmaking Vegetarian;>. A radio newscast of missing Boyscouts with the rest of the pack with a Meningitis-like disease happens within the 1st few minutes of the flick. As does Forsythe's character mentioning his Mother-In-Law is so sick she "bit" him.....
Quite a bit of Black humor, though some might have a hard time with a divorced father who momentarilly becoming sort of lucid calls his ex to bitch at her...while the bloody spine and pelvis of the daughter he just ate is in front of him, "She can't come to the phone dammit, it's DINNER!!!!"....
Cheers,
Pat
