1st Week...

here at Royal Oaks has gone very well. Got the indoor lightgardens finally set up and filled, now it's just emptying boxes(still got about a 1/4 left). One more trip to the old homestead for outdoor plants and cleaning the house then that chapter of our lives is over.
It's been a couple decades since I've NOT lived in a "sketchy" neighborhood. Good Water Pressure, consistent Power, no visual drug dealing or violence. It's kinda worth having my Outdoor growing area severely limited.
A couple days ago I was over at the old house and was talking to one of my neighbors who had a Crackheed try to break into his house on the 26th. I figured something had happened in the neighborhood since when I pulled in I saw the fruit trees had been stripped and the screen door was forced open. Looks like we left just in time....
It really is beautiful here. We're a mile from a state park and 3 blocks from a bayou and the intercoastal waterway. The only drawback is at night Driving 'cause the Oaks are so big they crate tunnels the road goes through, making it VERY DARK once the Sun goes down:>!
