The protests IF the zoo had "tranked" the gorilla and the kid got hurt(or killed) would be soooo much greater than the one's now....so I Understand their Logic.
However, IMO there are almost 9 million Humans.Quite a few less Gorillas in general and even fewer that subspecies. Wouldn't have bothered me a bit if the kid had been killed. At least then one less Eejit would BREED.
