It's funny how things that used to annoy me are now making me at least smile, if not laugh about this election cycle in the States. Since I don't have any emotional connections to any of the Big 3, watching the silliness of the 3rd Estate basically turning into a bunch of Bay Area Pagans(puuuullleaaazzzee! Can we retire "mean-spirited"!?!?). I had to laugh yesterday when I was "surfing" while waiting till it was time to pick Chuck up from work and was listening to this verbal smurf-fest when the only blatently REpublican on the panel stated what I've been saying all along. He started laughing at the other Talking Heads. His basic jist was to tell them how easy they were making it for his PArty to win when the probable choice falls apart at such minor attacks. Not caring is a "Good Thing". Truth is, whoever wins is going to be a one-termer since things are going to be so bad by the time they're elected that ANY ofthe number of messes will take WAY more than a single term to tidy, let alone clean up. McCain's lucky, he's just going to let things continue and he's already pointed out he's a single-termer. The others are the kid standing on the beach as the tsunami rolls in, thinkingthey can turn it back. Sorry. What is IS. There is only dealing with THAT....Truth,
