mdehnersFolks NEVER think ahead...or "look down". "Always see the Positive" you'll hear. I heard this one for yrs about Globalization. Most folks were upset about the mIgration aspect:Jobs, People and Materials. Me? That as well but one that I'd Worried about and until recently never heard "boo" about was the Downside to "Interconnectedness".....outside of Birdflu, of course;>!
All economies presently, except for a few Dictatorships(and they may be the Winners in the long run!)are ONE. While some buy more finished Products, most everybody makes or mines a bit of that product. Seldom is something truly "Made in ____". Assembled...perhaps. Before, Enonomic collapses spilled over onto their neighbors, leaving distant lands mildly Inconvienienced. Not anymore. A riot in a single city in a single country can shift a planetary Economy now. Big Fukk'n Butterfly;>! Sadly, the only thing that an affect a Planetary Economy is a Planetary Gov't. Funny how those "One WOrld Order" Folks' Economic Theories will help Create the thing they most Abhor.....
