mdehnersDon't do that anymore. Why? I get asked. Well, I'm old, grumpy and tired. I'm tired of fighting the same fight for more than a quarter century and being told by those I'm supposed to support to "wait". I'm tired of being Used. While I admit looking good in red, I'm not a Redshirt;>.
I spent most of my younger days fighting apparently for folks that didn't care. The local aids org keeps asking me to help but refuses to "buy" the reason I won't; folks who couldn't be bothered with Protection because it's a "Fag disease", or are bitching that taking a couple pills to stay alive is interfering with their "Lifestyles". I'm tired of being told that Gays "owe" everyone to keep working....after all, can't have Breeders and/or non-Euros"tainted" by "aids inc". Might ruin their careers.
And since Chuck won't get stuck with my Medical bills when I die as long as our marriage isn't recognised by the gov't....
