After two episodes, I would like to recommend a replacement season series...'Castle'. With Nathan Fillion of 'Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog, 'Firefly' and a number of other projects, this Crime "Dramedy" is smart, funny and just very well written. Castle is basically every Mystery writer stuffed into a young Jack Nicholson persona. Smug, Charming and Egotistical, Fillion obviously gets a kick out of playing this character...always a good sign. He lives with his mother and daughter(which tells you what his ex is like when someone as Irrisponsible as he has Custody...)who really IS the adult in the house. His mother played to 'Ab-Fab' levels by an actress better known to folks as 'Darma and GReg's' Greg's Mom, she gets to have almost as much fun as Fillion. There's something fabulous about a woman in her 60's in a swirl of designer gown declare with a "martuni" in one hand that her "Greydar" has gone off and the next time you see her singing "I'm just a Girl who can't say No" to some SIlver Fox;>....
What can you say about a show that's main character's reaction to a bunch of Police Officers looking at a computer screen is to ask them to e-mail the url for the Porn site they must be watching;>...
