The Woo Report.....

mdehnersWell, not much in the "Big Woo" Dept, unless you consider a UPG report from the Norse Regin that there are no exclusively Homosexual Deities among them. A few Exclusively Het ones but many seem to be beyond focusing on one set of Plumbing or the Other. Very Pragmatic They Are;>. This doesn't bother me the least since I'd long figured out that the Regin aren't generally Limited by cultural Norms of Iron, Machine or Info Ages. They're whatever They Need to be at the Time...
Most of my "Woo" has been in the "Little" dept, which makes sense for someone who Works with the Land and Home. I definitely spend more time trying to Please the Vættr than the Regin. 'Course, They're always around so it's easier. It's kind of neat that this has spilled over into being the "go-to guy" for everything but Lawncare in the neighborhood. Had this morning a neighbor ask me to look at one of his trees. It wasn't just dead, it was Blighted. You don't See many things glow Black and it's NEVER a "Good Thing". I Think SOmething must have Passed through the nieghborhood while we were at the folk's Anniversary because I would have noticed something that can suck the Life out of a tree, leaving it visibly Dead in a week. It's on the edge of his property with the neighbor with the User Friends so that sort can Attract Nasties. If it wasn't for the Glow, I'd have said some sort of Poisoning....
The Dead Zone on my N property line has Migrated South so I think my 1st Impression that the now Dead Arsehole husband of my neighbor dumped his car chem instead of storing and disposing properly. It's following the areas Hydrology.
Other than that,everything is doing well for a SPring with a nasty last gasp. The Pears and Peaches are Toast but the Quince, Orangequat and Kumquats haven't bloomed yet and the Satsuma just started. Also, the big Red Guava made it through the WInter with only minor damage so there'll be fresh Guavas this Fall!
