mdehnersOur low-cal Teaps are going ballistic over something that had been sent to every household in the area months ago....that Gulf Power was switching to modern meters that don't need Readers anymore, they transmit your Useage directly to the company.
When they announced they were goingto do this last yr there was no reaction. In today's world the Teaps here are worrying about "gov't intrusion" into their personal lives...which it isn't. It's CORPORATE. You Know, they folks they think are Jesus' Apostles in the Modern WOrld? My fav was a speaker mad because the "gummit's going to know how much I Shit". Which is funny because the toilet, unless you've got one of those hi-tech Japanese numbers AREN'T Electric;>
Not that Logic's Big with these folks anyway. Personally, It'll mean one less monthly Doggy Disturbance. That pup's got PIPES;>!
