mdehnersto think what projects both Spiritual and Mundane for the coming yr. While I don't have any strong ideas about those Spiritual, I do have for the Mundane....Fermentation.
I plan on doing most of my Baking using Sourdough. I plan to get two commercial cultures; a midrange and a fast culture that can be used with a breadmaker. I also want to start a wild culture. I lost the one I created at Hummingbird not too long before we moved and haven't started one since we got here.
I also plan to work with Fermenting Veg. There's some modern versions where you don't need to put up huge crocks for each batch but quart or pint batches, since Chuck isn't a big "fan". If I can figure out how to make kimchi at such small batches I'll be in heaven;>!
