mdehnersThat's how I see much of what the Progressive Movement has fallen into. So buzy "Being Nice" that not only nothing gets done, you let your Enemies off when they're caught in Illegal/Unethical/Immoral activites...even the ones who placed themselves as Paragons of Virtue.
I don't donate or volunteer anymore. I've watched orgs I've volunteered and/or donated to stab Me & Mine over and over in the back for reasons incomprehensible to me. In their Obsession with "Coalition Building", they actively tell GLBT-folk or Alt-Rel folk to shut up and sit quietly in the back. "We'll get to your stuff when we get to it. You'll Frighten the Holy Roller Blacks/La Raza Latino/as/etc. But please open your wallet and chequebook for us to use you as your kind is supposed to be used....
