Jinsey is a small island off Britain that has been Isolated for generations by orders of The Great He, a mysterious Being that no one sees and only Communicates through his spokesman, Arbiter Maven by way of soggy post its per glowing Pneumatic tube. The residents are watched, given orders and punished(which is broadcast BY the Tessilators to the residents)by the Tessilators, a Jetson-like device everywhere on the island which is combo TV, radio, remote camera and electro-shock device. They've been Isolated so long that they have their own dialect as well as customs(like changing partners and genders every few cycles/yrs
