Movie Review....
Jul. 11th, 2009 07:33 am'Tokyo Zombie'. If you like Japanese Comedy or Horror Comedy, check this one out.
'TZ' is about a couple of Losers who Work at a Fire Extinguisher Storage facility and spend their copious free time practicing Wrestling. Their boss catches them(again) and ends up dead after his Tantrum. To get rid of the evidence, they take the corpse to "Black Fuji" an illegal landfill that's so popular that it's beginning to rival Mt Fuji(hence the name;>). Toxic Waste, Garbage, Bodies, basically everything someone doesn't want the gov't to know about(in Japan you have to declare what you're Dumping). This Spiritual and Chemical Pollution ends up Reanimating the Dumped corpses into...you know;>.
Like 'Shawn of the Dead', 'TZ' is full of comments about the cultures they come from. WHile the majority of Americans "get" those about Britain, they may not so with Japan(like that of a man whose lazy wife has him burying his Mother alive if he ever wants Sex again, or Ecchi-Dirty Old Men...). If you've enough of a Japanophile...you will and find this movie fun to Rent.
Cheers,
Pat
