mdehnersSometimes I think it’d be nice to be “Normal”. Let’s face it. Beyond showing you that there is something post-Death and/or that “Conventional Reality” is greater than most see, Sight isn’t that Useful. Most Ghosts are nothing more than Recordings. Most Wights are little more than the non-Physical versions of cats, squirrels and pigeons.
“Echoes”(what I call Recordings) might be Useful if they were recent, but then again, they show (usually) the last moments of the person. Unless they cry out “Bob Jones is trying to Kill me!!!!”, they’re not. And for some reason there seems to be a “gestational” phase between a Death and the start of an Echo. I’ve never run into one less than a decade old and most are 20<. Again, not very Useful. Yesterday, for example, I ran into one in my neighborhood of a guy being robbed and murdered, repeatedly. Begging for his life. He was in “50’s” style Summer clothing. Most Uncomfortable.
In another case, last week I Watched Something very Aquatic looking march through the neighborhood. I figured some Water Wight was taking a shortcut between the Intercoastal Waterway and Cinco Bayou(which is 2 blocks from my house..). Interesting and Distracting, Yes. Useful….no. Well, maybe for learning that Land Wights don’t like “That Sort”, since they all disappeared way before it came into Sight….
