10 COmmandments....

There was an article in our low-cal paper in which the reporter bemoaned the Fall of American Values today. Her Point? That many folks couldn’t recite the 10 Commandments. Many could only a couple of them…
I responded to her article by pointing out that not everyone who can’t recite the 10C is Spiritually Deficient. Some of us find them IRRELIVANT. As I pointed out, many of us found Christianity itself Deficient and either Returned to the Ways of our Ancestors or to other non-Christian religions. For myself, I personally break two of them continually; the no God before YHVH and the Graven Images commandments. In fact, YHVH was so far behind that obscure Polynesian Deities come before Him;>!
Just because you aren’t a “Person of the Book”, it doesn’t mean that you are Immoral. I don’t Know of ANY religion, historic, recon or inspirationalist that doesn’t have a Moral code. Even Atheists do, they’re just called Ethics or simply Good Manners;>!
Needless to say, she Ignored me. After all, I Follow “Cartoon Characters”. ‘Course, so does she…if you watch Christian TV;>!
