The day ended on a good note. Went and offered my head as a sacrifice to make my Mom Feel Useful(I let her cut my hair. I'm "Blessed" with fur that looks the same if a salon or a weedwacker is used....). I started Harvesting the 1st Persimmons of the season. DEEEEElish! Also the 1st Passionfruit. Note to self: separate the Maypop fruits from those from the hybrid "Incense" vines. The Ornamental hybrid has Tasty but pithy fruit....
Got a knock on the door during dinner. It was a photographer that jogs past our property every day. SHe wanted to tell us how wonderful it looks and to give us a copy of one of those she took over this season. It was one of the Swamp Sunflower bank. Made my day....
