Pets are always surprising you....
Boo-Boo("officially" Blue, but personality-wise;>)likes to play with our Cockatiels, whether they are in the mood or not. Stormy has a big Ego and has no problem either "bullying" or simply ignoring him when he isn't in the mood but Angel, from an Abusive home can't. If Angel doesn't want to play "Chase", Boo-Boo will try to Startle him into doing so.....
Yesterday's "Chase" started as usual. They all Played for a while then the birds decided to take a break. Boo-Boo wasn't done. He'd bark sharply to get Angel going again and he flew into the Living Room. I didn't pay much attn since this happens mult times each day. He barked again. And again. And Again. I got annoyed. Then I realised it wasn't the Usual bark but the one when he's WOrried about something, like when our Elderly Daschund is still Sleeping when she should be up or a Storm is coming. I couldn't find Angel. I heard Barking from the bathroom. I looked in all the Usual places(the birds shower with me in the AM and hang out on either the towel rack or curtain rod while I dry...). Nothing. The I notice that Boo-Boo's looking right at the toilet. The lid up. In the bowl was two very Pissed red eyes attached to a bird with it's butt in the water. Luckly, the last time it'd been used wasn't a "let it mellow" moment so the water was fresh.....
With all his problems due to a very Abusive Puppyhood, I keep Underestimating Boo-Boo. He's definitely "A Good Boy"....

Pat
