Deletion....

I found myself deleting an entry that I was going to upload today. Now, Usually, I do this when I figure the Woe outwieghs the Weal but this was the Opposite. I realised the reason I did because it was one of those, "You have a point, They have a Point, you both have Faults and so stop acting like a couple of kids in a sandbox and act like the Adults you are" posts and I'm tired of trying to get folks to get along, or at least stop being shits toward each other. I'm not one of the Regin so it "ain't my bidness". I've spent so much time and Energy the last couple of decades doing so and it sure hasn't made my Life any better. No one's Happy to have it Pointed out that they are hardly Blameless in a fight and less with the one who does it....even though it helps them in the long run.
Let the Regin sort them out....

Weddings...

Chuck rented this bit of “fluff” called “Wedding Wars” and since I had nothing to do and nothing was on…I watched it. Cute, pretty typical for the genre “what if all the ___ went on strike”. The premise is that the Wedding planner two weeks before his brother and the Gov’s daughter get hitched discovers that not only is the Gov for DOM but his brother wrote the speech. Pissed that the reaction to his reaction of WTF was, “just get back to work”, he goes on strike. Nothing happens until a couple of Meatpuppet Anchors snark on air about “haidressers and makeup artists”. The 1st to strike are the station’s Weatherman and the tech that runs the teleprompter. It’s nice that unlike the usual, it’s not just “bad hair & fashion for everyone” crap…
It got me thinking about my family. I realized that I’m the only one married in a religious service. Not the folks(JOP), not the younger brother(newage/secular. Strongest term used…Positive Energy), and neither of those by my two older brothers, unless you count Terry’s 3rd wife which he married her at an Elvis Chapel in Vegas(well, some do believe he’ll return when we need His Music;>). Odd that the one whose marriage isn’t recognized by the state is the only religious one, unless you count “The King”….
