The 2nd Coming? The Anti-Christ? Who to vote for?

As an Independent(I don't trust ANY one of them to CMA;>), this election cycle has been most Entertaining. My Demo-friends are either Devotees of the New Jesus or the Leader of the Pharesees. My Repubi-friends are either voting against David Koresh or Musselini. My Libe-friends? They're voting Republican for the returning Elijha....
Me? I don't really like any of them. Luckly, by November my choice of Stinkers will be winnowed down so I'll only have to use a single closepin on Election Day;>
Unlike much of Florida, mine is packed with Military and Retired Military. FOlks that genreally are Conservative but actually Beleive in that stuff they go to Fight and Die for. That means we don't have the problems that many other counties have. Every Vote counts....or else. Even the hint of a problem with piddlin local issues gets the torches fired up and those involved run out.....

Hair-shirt, anyone?

I was reading some of my Green blogs today and I had to clean my screen off from reading a post on one of them. I've heard about Looking at the Bright side of Life but really! One of the commenters was mentioning how proud that thier family was going from a resource-gussling house to an energy appropriate car. That had to be the most positive "spin" ever on becoming Homeless I've erve run into!. DOn't think it'll catch on though, like warming the water for dishwashing by your body heat(another helpful eco-friendly tip...). The scary thing? They aren't JOKING...
