Mar. 4th, 2011 01:39 pmMaybe it's just me being Gay but I've never experienced/seen/etc Freya as some sort of sex-kitten lust Goddess. Edred's "Frolicsome Freya" stuff always creeped me out and when I run into it at moot or on-line(more likely nowadays it still bugs me.
It's not that I see Her as non-sexual. Just the opposite. As a Gay man, Her Sexuality is VERY disturbing. Thing is, I see Her more of the type that jumps a man after a battle, not skipping through a field of flowers followed by Songbirds...then to throw Herself in the arms of a man to Satisfy him. But then again, my view of Her doesn't have any personal sexual overtones;>.
