Perspective...
Apr. 9th, 2011 07:30 amOne of the many Good Things about the Internet and having varied Interests is that I get to know folks from all over the world, not just in my own country. One of those is JAPAN.
Their view of recent news is a bit different than in most of the West...esp. the US. To them, the main Interest is the Tsunami and it's damage. Fukashima is at the bottom of that. Why? because as it was put to me, the Japanese had (re)built, farmed and raised mult generations on nuclear bomb blast sites...and no 2-Headed kids or livestock. Western journalists have to work hard to find the couple of folks in any large group that'll state what they want to broadcast.
Says a lot about our journalists, doesn't it?
Cheers,
Pat
