This post-apoc Sci-Fi series from Japan once agin shows how much better they are than EVERYONE in Animation...
It's the it SUCKS. The planet is a sterile Wastland, the air Toxic. All Life but one species lives in giant mobile arcologies(Regios'), endlessly wandering to mine resources and avoid the only Life outside, the "Contaminoids", giant cancer-insect creatures that remain Dormant until a food source nears....
An Interesting twist of the series is that unlike most Japanese genre productions, HOW this came is covered....slightly. scattered through the episodes the characters are seen to watch a historical flick.. the main characters the 1st Military Artist and the 1st Nennie Operator(basically most Psychic Abilities, esp Telepathy and Remote Viewing).
A lot of fun, adult situations(many with the Japanese twist that Lesbians are sexpots and Gays are all screamers)....
