They're Dead, Jim!
May. 6th, 2011 12:51 pmSo many of my lists and groups are basically moribund that it's a wonder I don't just discomm from them. I used to post on them when no one else did to try to keep them going but after a couple of "toasty" responses to doing so I no longer do. If someone does, I will but other than that, I don't.
I probably get more from folk who sub, then send me a private e-mail for info(or starts, seeds, plants, etc for my botanical,the above and spices for my culinary)that they don't want to do the work for(or spend the money to buy themselves.
Both Chuck and myself are getting to be quite the curmudgeons;>. We both agree that we're glad that we're at the end of our lifespans because since during ours quality, honorability and civility have all constantly diminished.
Chuck's off for 3 days in a row due to his homophobe boss making the schedule. What's so funny is that every time she does this and gives his hrs to the more "Deserving" workers the big boss gets on her because very little beyond the minimum gets done. And she wonders why she didn't get a Raise this yr;>. My fav is that she's faving her fav, who cleans the bathroom by flushing the toilets and spraying Windex in the air to make it smell like somone cleaned to train the new employees.Oh well. Chuck is eligible for SSI this Nov and he's taking it while he can. Like most of my ex-workplaces, they never appreciate you until you're gone....
