Apr. 18th, 2012 12:56 pmOne of the biggest problems for those with Sight, moi-self included is analysing what you See WHILE you're Seeing it. When you're focusing on trying to figure out WHAT you're Seeing, while you're Seeing it....two things oft happen. !st is that you simply lose Sight of what you're Seeing. The other is that you end up strenghtening your Me-Coloured Glasses. All Humans see/See the world through the lenses of their Experience and Mindset. I luckly learned this lesson back in the early 80's when a small point of Light came in the window during Ritual and began orbitting the candles. I remeber thinking, "It's a Fire Elemental! But isn't it supposed to look like...." at that moment the light changed into a small dragonish creature that gave me "The Look", the one many Beings have given me when I'm being thick. I got the message.
Analysing what you See is a Good Thing. Doing so WHILE you're Seeing adds preconseptions and like most of us being well-read, we have a shitload to use.
Just because Something is Outside or around plants doesn't automatically make it a Nature Spirit/Landwight no more than a hairy hiker in the woods is a Sasquatch. Sasquatches are generally taller and don't shop at Lands End;>....
Oh, and just because Something's Dead or doesn't have a Physical body doesn't make it Smart, or even Good.
Cheers,
Pat
