Contradiction.....

We've all seen the 'Starburt' candy commercial;>. One of those "Contradictions" I've noticed in the last 40+ yrs is the more Obsessed by the Dead, the less likely the person actually has the Ability to even Percieve Them.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I mean, I'd NEVER have an Artifact Involved with Violent Death in my home, let alone collect them! Sheesh, I have enough problems with stuff belonging to those who Passed Peaceably.
Many times over the yrs friends have dragged me to their pet Psychics, Gurus, Masters/etc and sadly most of the time I'm met with some Gothic(in the traditional sense;>)person with a Jack The Ripper Decorator's Sensability. I'd say they've been 1/4 with some Gift(they're usually the ones with a Celtic or Newage Decorator;>), the remaining are either Showmen(most of their stuff is replica...sometimes so Bloody Obvious I cringe that I'm friends with such Eejits)or those who Wish they had Gifts so badly they've become enamoured with the trappings of not only Death but Violent Death. And even if the actual Human skull(s) they are decorating with(which to me is an Insult to the Person who used to occupy it)didn't die a violent death,most of those have been taken from graves. There are few suppliers of real Human skulls that would sell to non-Medical teaching personnel.
I'm sure this'll Piss off some folks but I call them as I see'm. Besides, you wouldn't really be a friend of mine anyway. Not only would I NOT feel comfortable entering someone's house which such things inside, the "taint" on them would make my subconcious lose Interest in being around them even if I didn't Know about their "collection". If you are so Headblind that you can sleep in a room with such things, you're too Alien to me to be friends with....
