Nasty.....

mdehners: (cheese)
I really HATE days like this. 1st, it starts out as NPO(Nothing Per Oral) for labs. Not only the No Food/No Water is annoying, it throws my Meds out of wack because most can't be taken on an empty stomach and about 1/2 of the rest will come back up if they AREN'T. After my labs I had an appt because of "abnormalities" along the scar that the Skin Cancer Removal left. Great. Biopsy time and a week of looking like Chuck punched me in the face. Oh, and being the 1st workday since the holiday and 'Isaac', it's pay all the Utilities. I go to drop of books at the library and find that due to the Street People, they've welded the dropboxes shut. I remember one of the librarians mentioning they(the Streeties) trying to break in through them.
By the time I get home it's almost noon, zip blood sugar and Chuck tells me the Drier isn't. Great. This is the 2nd we've had in the last 12 yrs.Same Washer though;>
So, after eating I ly down for a rest. I wake up 2 hrs later(WTF?!) feeling aweful. I realise the last time I felt like this was when I had my Colonoscopy and I realised that I hadn't taken ANY of my MEDS TODAY!!!!!!!
'COurse, now, taking pills that were SUPPOSED to be taken separately over a 3 hr period all at once means WWF rules the guts.
PPPTTTTTPPPPTTTTTT!!!!!!!!
Yah, being Disabled is MUUUCCCHHH better than Working. NOT!I'd trade my WORST day EVER as a Nurse as the New Normal then to have to deal with the crap that keeps me from, well Dying.
Cheers,
Pat
