This is something I've never done before, recommending a series when only two episodes have been released in the USA. But the Quality and Creativity have me giving it an at least try it;>....
It's been 15 yrs since the last Human died or was born. It is said that God announced that the Afterlife was full and that he was leaving(however, in the 2nd episode a character who'd been a teen at the time states that folks just noticed no one was getting Pregnant and that even after all bodily functions ceased, the Personality was still active....even if it was in a slowly decomposing form). Hambartie, the Assassin that was a teen at the time Believes that what happened was Humanity had their Wishes granted. After all, how often do you here those who wish Immortality in a Physical Form? He also points out that about that time he, an Albino had a day in which the sun didn't bother him and he Wished that nothing would change about him from that day. He now heals instantly and the sun doesn't burn him.
There is also the Gravediggers, the only Beings that can put a Human to Rest. Even a headshot only "stops" the person, they remain aware until completely decomposed. A Gravedigger's Magic releases the soul/spirit/etc, leaving only a corpse.
An interesting view of a world where Living is feared more than Death....
