Oy!!!!

I was a bit afraid of this, after so long without the meds. I've lost my Tolerance. BLAUGH!
It's one of my Pet Peeves when I hear Eejits talk about hiv/aids being "like Diabetes". I have both and I'd rather just have Diabetes meds. Folks forget that the 1st and precursors to the antiretrovirals were chemo drugs that were "repurposed". With most to ALL of the side effect OF Chemo drugs.
Lets just say I've spent more time than usual in the bathroom;>......

History....

I finally got around to both downloading and listening to an archived podcast from Raven Radio mentioned on one of my Heathen lists. I actually am subbed to RR, just not that long ago;>.
It was about the last 4 decades in American Heathenry. What surprised me was how much I'd been aware of; either happening or the echoes were when I "Came Home in the early 90's. I think the only thing mentioned I wasn't aware of Skaritru(sp), a cult out of Texas. Think Gay Joseph Smith taking "dictation" from Odin and you have an idea. I can't believe I totally missed that one;>!
Definitely not something for the "Bunnies & Lite" side of the Heathen community but if you're not, a light overview of non-Westcoast Heathenry in the USA since the 70's....
