Buzy Saturday....
Mar. 2nd, 2014 09:52 amMy brother came bearing gifts and help this weekend. It was very good of him. The one that has Chuck all "aflutter" is TIVO. He refurnished two old ones that had been their kids' and brought them over for us to use; one for Chuck, one for me. What I'm really liking is the interface that TIVO's Pandora has, as opposed to my Blu-ray and Roku. I'm finding a lot of music that:
A-haven't hear in a while
B-Never heard; like Da Vinci's Notebook, Gaelic Storm, Todd Snider and Jon Cozart.
When I suggested repairing the freeze-damaged well pipes in a less "Rube Goldberg" method(Dad had planned on adding two more lines but his and my Health downturned before the digging began and so...). Next thing I knew his car was gone. When I next saw it was back I went to look where he was. He was fixing the well as per my suggestions. Just tested it and it works....well;>.
I'm pretty sure the Norfolk Island Pine is dead at least to the roots. Rotted branches falling off are a pretty strong sign. OTOH, I noticed some of the Purple form of Okinawan Spinach sprouting in the leaf-litter. Balance.
Cheers,
Pat
