Stuff-N-Nonsense....
Aug. 29th, 2014 06:46 amNot as busy as last week but still;>....
Sandi(my SIL) sent an email telling me that they FINALLY got the termite damage report for the house they're looking into for the folks and then put a bid down(apparently, the only guy in the office that can use their office's database was on vacation for two weeks;>). Now, my worry is not just whether Dad will Pass before we move them but that he DOESN'T. After all, one of the reasons he functions so well here is that he's been going to the same places weekly for the last 2 decades. A new place might just confuse him too much. But we'll have to "deal" with that if/when it happens.
Rocky went to his follow-up with the vet yesterday and is over his sinus infection. Unfortunately, the gum disease is unchanged and it'll be something he(like Chuck) will have to cope with all his life. Sure, if we were "Richers" there are all sorts of treatments(like a $250 twice yrly cleaning that was suggested)but we're NOT. He'll have to cope, just like his "Momma" does.
Today we're supposed to have the AC folks come over for their quarterly inspection and "tuneup", rescheduled from last week. Maybe they'll be able to get replacement pads for the electrostatic filters cause I CAN'T.
Cheers,
Pat
