Almost Done....

with my Quest to save a few of the rare plants I've grown about the property so I can take them with. Unfortunately, by the time Chris told us, many had gone Summer Dormant and now many are going Winter. Luckly, once I heard our "Marching Orders";>, I'd gone about the yard with leftover bamboo skewers to mark those that still had leaves(or sticks;>)so I won't lose everything. 'Course, the Universe being what it is, even if I DO dig them up they might not survive that OR the wildlife(as today when I noticed the Persicaria 'Red Dragon' I'd potted up had been completely dug up by squirrels).
There's a few things left to dig up and a few to take Cuttings of to Root but other than that we're pretty ready for the 1st part of the yr.
Amusingly, we heard our "orders" when the folks heard theirs but no matter how many times we all told them that they'd be Moving by mid November at the latest they hadn't done anything....until today. We found this out at 0700 when they called u to help;>.....
