Boing! Boing!
Dec. 6th, 2014 06:28 amBit of an uneven day;>. The house cleared so as soon as they can get someone to fix the termite damage we'll be Moving. Now that I've seen it again(and for our own uses...last time was when the folks were going to get it;>)it's better than I thought for our uses. Botanically though, I want the tacky Euonymus and Crape Myrtle removed. That will give me space to plant my Yuzu Lemon and to plant a persimmon tree in the front court. There's actually more Sun than I thought. Don't know much about the Watering situation though. If it gets Sprinkled by the public system...GREAT! If not, I'll put in a rainbarrel collection system and drip irrigate.
The oddest thing to work with is that the house has two Dining rooms. I think the one off the kitchen is the one we'll use as and the other make into an office and cat playground(not that their toys won't wander;>). The only inconvenient thing is that there is no close bank of ours. Not that it's a biggie. The only reason I go to a branch is to check the balance and you can do that online.
The less positive bit yesterday was mostly around the folks. 1st was that Mom wanted her Yule stuff. Found out that Dad had changed the locks to the backyard so I had to lift the crates up and over the fence. Not the most Ergonomic;>! It also filled both the truckbed AND that behind the seats. So much for starting to bring our stuff over. Oh, and Rats had nested in their shed worse than ours. Needless to say, both me and my clothes needed an IMMEDIATE wash;>!
Oh, and my Insulin came in...WITHOUT needles. Wee bit difficult to give shots without the "pointy bits"......
Cheers,
Pat
