tink. TINK-tink;>......

I admit, I'm a Windchime Junkie;>. Got it from both of my parents who collected them wherever they were Stationed. One that I, until recently never had myself was a Furin. These Japanese Windchimes are so ubiquitous in their Homeland that in Anime they're a way of symbolizing Summer. Mom had a couple when I was a kid that she got when she was between marriages, staying with her parents while Uncle Harry was part of MacArthur's Occupation but being Porcelain they didn't survive to make it here.
So, 2 months ago I saw an auction for a glass Furin with Sakura Blossoms for $4.00/free shipping. Needless to say, I'm sure the vendor expected it to go up. It didn't;>.
For the last 3 weeks the gentle "tink-TINK-tink" can be heard outside our bedroom. Needless to say, when it was offered again;>......
