Last Fall we took our cats to my family's vet to get them a basic health check and caught up on their vaccinations. The reason we're doing that was so they could have their teeth cleaned. After $700< the vet tells us that Rocky will require all his teeth puled and "SHE doesn't have the time" and gave us a vet in our old town, FWB. They did a great job with Rocky and repeatedly checked on him. The 1st vet never did.
In Jan I wanted to switch diets for on that had a smaller diameter kibble for Rocky. REPEATEDLY I left messages, stopped at the office etc and finally got a call LAST month from the vet basically telling me that what she told us Butch needed(our "barfy" cat) was "misunderstood". At this point I decided to have Butch's Cleaning go to the other vet.
Well, today I had to "deal" with the cable company and the original vet was just down the street so I decided to pick up a bag of the new kibble. Voices in the back, no one in front other than a friendly cat. After playing with the cat, getting my own bag and STILL calling for someone I gave up and left the bag on the desk so they know someone HAD been there.
Except for emergencies(and I doubt that...) the vet that did Rocky's surgery is our primary vet now.....
Cheeers,
Pat
