Almost Home!
Jul. 16th, 2021 04:00 pmBasically, once I put together a flatpack bookcase(2 of my cheapos didn't make it whole here;>) and fill it all that will be left is figuring out where to put stuff. Even my indoor plants are in their lightgarden. Unfortunately, the outlets are still buried so they have to "deal" with natural light!
Dollywood was a lot of fun for both of us but really way too much time going for both of us. They certainly pickd the right valley to build it in, absolutely stunning! SIL is a regular goer(and therefore my brother IS) and were talking about at least two more trips this yr. If we DO, we're taking our own car so when we "poop" out, we can go home and they can keep enjoying themselves. We simply don't have the kind of endurance they have.
Lots of local wildlife I've seen...not just the fish, birds and turtles in the cove. Lots of Cottontails and this M as I was heading out on my Walk a doe watched me from across the street. It's the 1st time I've Gardened in an area that Deer are something I'll have to "deal" with. Well, they're prettier than most bugs;>!
Still having difficulty "Seeing" the local Wights clearly. I'm thinking the combo of this being someone elses
residence(I've never had problems Landtaking a rental before but this time we're renting an apt inside another's home) and that with Construction actively in progress things aren't settled enough. Considering as far as we're concerned, this is our last move so we have plenty of time to work it out....
