mdehnersHuman Spiritual Experience can be compared to TV. Each form and subform is it's own "channel". A member "tunes in" to their particular station. There is, with an active member communication between. When a station or member drifts off frequency, the message gets "heard"....
Solitaries are different. They "tune in" but there is no communication with the local station. They also tend to watch other channels;>. The difference is that a SOlitary oft will say that they are _____ when they no longer follow that particular channels "mission statement". A good example is Christians that actively go to a particular denomination's church are more likely to act in line with that denomination's values than a member of the same denomination that does not. It's easier to go "against the pack" when you don't have one....
I'm a Solitary. I'm also lucky enough to have the kind of brain that recognises when MPE's are not in line with the Spiritual FRequency Known as REcon HEathenry. I make myself be Honest and state those experiences AS outside of recon Heathenry. Problems come up,esp with Solitaries when folks DON'T differentiate. It becomes even more problematic if those SOlitaries later form groups, esp being the local founding group. It's both amusing and sad when a newbie from one of these subbs to an nat'l or internation org and finds out that the "eldrich knowlege" they've been taught is stuff that their group's founder manifested on their own....
