Life in the Dangly Bits....

For anyone not a Fundy Christian, living in the Dangly Bits below the Bible Belt can be a touch Surreal. A couple days ago I got to listen to our foul-mouthed neighbor punish her son for talking to me. His dog, not leashed had run across the street and I'd helped him get "Naula" back. She may be a "Gangsta" with a mouth that'd shock the foulest Pimp but she's not going to have her son's soul stolen by some "Fag Witch"...
Then today. Our local city council missed by one vote making the Pledge of Alligence Manditory to "show that this is not only a Christian Nation but a CHristian town". The paper carried a suggestion that for those who didn't support the measure, that they should be "wrapped in the Flag and beaten to Death by a Bible". Scary this is, this was not sarcasm but literal opinion....
