Wedding Redux...

mdehnersSuki's (my niece) Wedding went off well, considering that and the day before were the stormiest in months(I DID ask for the ceremony to be clear and it was....even up to the clouds parting at the Kiss). Those storms also took out my modem...probably as payment;>
It was a bit surreal for us, after all the last non-Heathen Het wedding was my brother's! I'd forgotten how Odd they can be and how sad in a way. She married a Scott, she had a Scottish DJ and there was no Celtic music. No traditional anything. Well, unless you consider the Hokey-Pokey, the Electric Slide and some odd dance involving clenching one's fists, flapping your arms and wiggling "Traditional"....
She was beautiful(as always) and both of us like David. Nice to Know our odd family is an Emotional step up from his. They're a Blue-Collar Catholic family that's looked down on their son ever since he showed that he was more Interested in high tech than automobile tech. Appearantly, working on any machine more complicated than a truck means you're a "Pussy"....
So David designs weapons systems but that's a Sissy job in his Dad's opinion. If he fixed the trucks that his systems would be hauled on his Dad would be proud though.....
