mdehnersMy SIL sent us an email asking us if we'd be Interested in moving into the house next to my folks..which has been up for sale a while. I don't want to. It really wouldn't be that much more help for the folks and actually would Piss them off since they think everyone is in their "Bidness" as it is. Anything that needs more than the 3 minutes MAX to drive from my driveway to theirs needs to be dealt by 911.
The house is crap as is the land it's on. It's had nothing but shitty renters since at least 1988. It's actually a bigger house; a 4br as opposed to our 2br. Since we really didn't need the 2nd br....
If the economy was better they could sell our home for quite a bit since we've done more work on the property then you see on one of those landsscape shows. I KNow the WIghts would not be happy. Very few folks would be willing to leave off mowing in SPring for instance to let a rare ground orchid bloom and seed. Or leave a snag so Woodpeckers, Owls and Bats have homes. I know when we're gone, "regular folk" will move in, tear it all out and replace everything with cheap Walmart crap that nourishes not the Body, Mind and Spirit of ANYTHING. I'd just rather stay here until I'm gone. Hopefully CHuck Fewels the same...
