Pity for George....

mdehnersI found myself experiencing something VERY Alien, Pity for "Dubja". After all, it's hard being the dumb kid in a smart family. No one expects you to do more than be Potty trained. You screw around and use your Old Man to get you out of messes you get into, half the time so he'll just pay attention to you....
Then you make these great "friends" that fluff your Ego and help you do and get things that'll "show them!". Your "friends" are so good at their games that you beat Daddy's Darling, 1st to the Gov then to the Presidency. "That'll Show'm!". Well, your "friends give you advice and since they're smarter than you(and got you here!), you take it. You even think you've outdone Pops! And it leads to the biggest disasters the USA has had in more than half a century, if not A century...
Those "friends"? They saw how things were going and fled, the same way some survived part of the mess they made in an earlier administration. Now, everyone's looking at you and no one's there to hand you Words to Say. Even Jesus isn't taking your calls anymore...
It's hard being a Figurehead after those carrying it scram. Exposed, Unprotected and the Symbol of all that your "friends" wrought. But you CHOSE to do anything to one-up your brothers and father. Yes, it sucked that your folks Loved your brothers more than you but a lot of us weren't our folks' "Apples" either and we didn't bring death ,destruction and depression to a planet. So the Pity is there, but not enough to absolve you from your Deeds.....
