mdehnersGot a robo-call this AM from some MD I'd never heard of for an appt in a town 45 minutes away on a good day for tomorrow. Appearantly, Lutheran Services needed to "fluff" their budget again and since they knew I wear glasses they scheduled me for the works. Even if I needed new glasses, I couldn't have gotten to Pensacola tomorrow.
Personally? I'd rather be Homeless than deal with that batch of Bush regency Faith-based BS jackasses again. The local Lutheran Services is pretty much staffed by Africans from countries that still carry the Death Penalty for Homosexuality, yet they, thanks to the Bush's and Joe Sarborough (when he still was our Ape in the House) run all the aids/hiv assistance programs in our part of the Panhandle. WHich means if you're a Het Black drugdealer, you get assistance, lickety split. If you're a Gay or Lesbian anything, you get the "Slow Code" until you die or find other resources....unless they need to Pad things for the budget....
My worker at the local aids org says he's had so many complaints about them he automatically hands out greivence forms with the assistance applications because unless they need you, they're going to fukk you over....
