Memorial Redux...

mdehnersWe had a quiet Memorial Day. Chuck had it off and so we and the folks got together for dinner. Other than a little Incense on the stall, I didn't do much for the holiday proper.
WHat was kind of sad was the absense on a lot of Heathen lists though. It's like since Bush isn't president they no longer feel the need to support the Vets, the Fallen or the Troops. Don't get it. Presidents come-n-go, THEY are forever. I figure they'll pout about the fact that we weren't some banana republic dictatorship so their guy could be "President For Life" for a little while longer them by late Summer get over it when Life finally get through to them. The fact that they couldn't be bothered on Memorial Day says a lot about how tru they were really about the Dead, the Vets and the Troops....
