Poor Chuck. He's stuck in the middle of a an anti-Gay witchhunt at his work and feeling guilty about it. I'm not. The guy they're trying to get rid of is the one that triggered my rant about Language. Yes, I know we're old farts but just like most older Black folks don't like the "N" word, most older Gays don't the "F" word. It has too many bad memories attached that young folks in these more Elightened times(and as bad as they think they are today, they ain't nothin like when I came Out...). Chuck had told the guy a number of times he didn't like the term and he kept calling him that...at Work. I know we're old-fashioned but there should be a level of Professional behavior when you're at Work, no matter WHAT kind of Work you do. Unfortunately, the last time he said it, just to Piss Chuck off a good Christian manager heard him and made Chuck fill out a complaint.
I don't have any sympathy for the arsehole. 'Course, he's from the North with a totally different language code but he's lived here in the "Dangly Bits" long enough to know better. I doubt he'll be Fired because that last person to do such wasn't....but then again, she was a good White Het Christian Lady
