The "Guy" thing;>....
Oct. 1st, 2009 06:49 amWell, here I am doing what most guys will know quite well(and not a few of the women either), hoping a slight toothache will go away on it's own. Like it EVER works out that way:>
For me, tooth proplems were a thing of childhood. After highschool my exams, while VERY infrequent were always good. In fact, many Dentists refused to believe me that it was just me and not theri bretheren responsible....after all, who can go a decade without even a cleaning and not only not have a cavity, his pockets are <2!?!
Well, the antiretrovirals have taken care of that. A lesser side effect known than their making your body deposit fat in odd places(giving you Quazy-moto-ism or Bullethead like me)is that they make your saliva more acidic. Not up to 'Alien' standards;>, but enough that unless you're constantly taking Calcium and Flouride....they soften.
Just another "joy" of living longer. It's one of the "perks" however of dealing with arseholes who get Infected today and think it's like Diabetes. Yes, it is. Most folks with Diabetes die a lot earlier and get many oportunistic infections and diseases. Diabetes isn't what the commercials present it as either....
Truth,
Pat
