Now the Good. The Good having to go through and c&p ALL those stanzas and translations of the Havamal is that I'm having my world-view that you can't be a real Heathen without at least reading the Havamal and Voluspa for the Ethics, Morality and Theology of Historical Heathenry(at least that of the last bastions...). I forget sometimes the Clearness and Honesty of esp. the Havamal. So clear that folks who grew up devoutly Christian tend to look for hidden meanings simply because with the Bible seldom is anything exactly as it's said. Heck, it's seldom as clear as 'Aesop's Tales'.
It's good to see it again. While I've studied and Internalized as much as I can from both Poems, still re-reading can bring a Centering that Memory itself CAN'T. Perhaps folks back in the Oral Trad Times could but me brain don't work that way. I need the Printed Word.
What can I say, I'm a Reader;>....
