A couple of "fun" days. Mom went into the hospital Sunday with Pneumonia. For a change, she didn't play her usual "I'm fine, I'll just sit here in the Dark and Suffer" BS and actually said she needed to go. So today the Pneumonia is almost better. The docs are more worried about her low Sodium levels. I asked her if she'd mentioned to them that she and Dad don't eat anything salty(they're OBsessed with Salt). I told her they might want to know that they won't eat Celery because it naturally has Sodium in it. Of course she has low Sodium!!!!!

I'm glad your Mom decided to go to the hospital. Although ........ yes, we (in general) eat too much salt but you need some in your diet. I've never heard of people not eating celery because of the sodium. I _knew_ there was a reason why I loved it.

They've always tended to go overboard with these things.It's amusing as well as annoying. Well, you're not going to change someone in the 80's;>...

Much better. Out of the hospital and annoyed that she's being "forced" to eat food with Salt in it. The most annoying thing about the whole situation was when I notified my brother and his wife(they're on vaction in Spain so they can spend some time with my nephew who's a contractor in Iraq) and she replied that she'd known all about it being Psychic and all but waited for us to notify her so we could work on our "Issues". Love those Newagers with such great powers that they "knew" just what you just told them;>....
