I've been watching a series of documentaries and one was an Taboos(a meh quality production). It did bring up something I'd not thought of directly in probably decades. It was something my HPS said in the early 80's. She said all Magic was was the Energy used to Affect Probabilities and the more Inprobable the Change, the harder to effect IT. So far I haven't run into a better definition. Of course, the biggest adjuster of Probabilities is whether or not you actually DO something on the Physical Plane to help it along;>. It's like moving the path of a stream. Slight changes are easier than drastic and some, like getting it to run backward require so much Energy to effect the miniscule Proabability the Gravity would happen to fail along that streambed as to be....Improbable;>.

But not everything that happens in your Life is Wyrd. A good indicator is stuff you can't change even with ultimate effort....

The Latter's where so many of the "Flakey Side of the Force" blow it. Can't see why they have to do anything on the Physical Plane if Spirit is so much stronger(and more fun than doing actual WOrk;>)...
