I like AL Martinez' work in general, though sometimes he does write a stinker. This one isn't. It's not 'A Nameless Witch' or 'Too Many Curses' either but still a good read.
Diana is an ordinary young woman just looking for a decent apt and should have realised that "Too Good To Be True" is just THAT. She discovers that she can't leave it and she is to NEVER open the closet. She finds out that she, like everyone in the bldg guard our Reality from Chaos; from other Reality's leaking through and to stabilize that which already has....like the Eternal Hunger of the Cthuloid Entity Vom in her closet.
A fun romp through our world seen through the lenses of Chaos Theory and Lovecraftian Physics...usually from their POV;>
Cheers,
Pat
