DVD Recommendation: Branagh's 'Hamlet'
Dec. 29th, 2009 01:21 pmActually, ANY of his Shakespearian flicks I would recommend. He's one of the few that can make Prose sound like natural dialogue, and in 'Hamlet' even Common Soldiers sound natural spouting the dialogue. He also doesn't fall into the stereotype of Hamlet as a fussy whiny queen. After all, how many of us who have good relations with our father's would be happy about Mom marrying our uncle two months after the funeral;>?
And for me, that period's fashion pushes buttons, since I can still remember a bit from my Previous Incarnation then.....
