mdehnersBeen Feeling "Meh!" for the lasty couple of weeks. Part is due to both Mom's Hospitalization and BooBoo's Death. The Stress has caused my Blood Sugars to be elevated. Not Panic elevated, just that the clinic wants me to get a set of labs before my regularly scheduled ones in November.
Didn't need Mom calling me yesterday upset that a woman had called asking for me. Now, I haven't used THAT number since the 1st month we moved here so I was automatically suspicious....and I was RIGHT. It was some low-end Bill Collector, thanks to George II.
If you haven't "dealt" with the BS Himself paid off his cronies in the Banking Industry....you're truly Blessed. Thanks to Him, Debts are no longer the responsibility of the original company OR the original Collection Agency. Debts can be sold in bundles. Problem with this is often you can pay off the original but they've already sold your Debt and the Buyers WANT THAT MONEY. You have to often go to court to prove that you have and during this, they can sell that bundle...so then you get the new company demanding you pay while you're trying to prove that you already had the original! Add in stolen info or Identity Theft and you get obnoxious folks calling about either bills you paid off in the early "00's" or that you didn't PERIOD.
'Course they aren't as Amusing than those that are trying to get you to pay Child Support(apparently, there's a reeeaaaalllly Frisky Het Patrick Thomas Duffy out there)and explaining to the totally embarrassed attorney on the line that the child can't be mine unless they're in their 40's....which was the last time I had Het Sex and even then, last time I heard about her in the 90's she still hadn't had any children so that would be one Hell of a Pregnancy;>!
